C'est l'histoire d'un marin-poète, un écrivain raté dans la tempête.

Il regarde passer les flots, puis se fait chasser sur "au boulot" ! Ce n'est pas toujours évident, d'être un marin poète dans le vent. Jamais vraiment aimable, le lieutenant l'envoie sur les râbles, à l'équilibre pour repeindre en acajou, la douce et belle figure de proue.

Mais quelle merveille de pouvoir admirer tant de choses, d'être dans la pluie le vent et s'y sentir en osmose ! Rien de mieux pour raviver l'âme perdue, au gré des usures de la rue. On s'y perd tout d'abord, puis s'y retrouve alors, si la vérité éclaire la voie, qu'emprunte l'âme en soi.

Certes si certains officiers sont blessants, le capitaine n'est ni aigre ni contrariant. Sans cérémonie il offre à sa table, une place pour toute personne aimable, loin de la cruauté véridique coulant sur le bois, à l'abri d'un regard glacé suivi par un cortège de narquois.

Mais même devant l'eau azurée glacée, les pensées du coeur peuvent pleurer. Sur le quai une femme attend le marin-poète, une femme qui elle seule regrette. Elle pleure d'une séduisante aventure, envoyant son poète dans l'obscur, l'empêchant de lui offrir des murmures, de ce passé naît le futur.
