Titre n°38 : Wicked Soul

Hier soir, repas d'anniversaire. 50 ans. Un demi-siècle, c'est pas rien. On fait une prestation musicale, on écoute l'autre groupe, et on se tire vite fait. Précaire illusion. On reste pour manger... Et encore, j'ai pu changer de place pour ne pas rester à côté de jeunes (de mon âge) qui avait l'air de véritable rigolo... Enfin, rigolo sans vraiment de maturité...

Début de soirée très silencieuse. Sentiment de malaise quand on me demande pourquoi j'ai changé de table. Ne peut-on donc pas être timide et asocial sans se sentir mal ?

Milieu de soirée. De la famille de l'heureux bicentenaire ont préparé des chansons sur la cinquantaine (tiens, quelle originalité). Je les écoute, bien obligé. La femme au centre chante trop aigu, tendant sur la fausse note et brisant les tympans.

Trois-quart de soirée. Mon père, musicien affirmé, attaque une impro blues avec d'autres artistes. Ça me donne considérablement envie d'aller chercher mon trombone dans la voiture.

A ce moment-là, j'entre dans une phase de vision pseudo-futuriste conditionnel... Je me vois partant vers la voiture, puis je la dépasse, je continue, en marchant d'abord, puis je commence à trotter, j'enlève mes claquettes qui me gène pour courir et je me jette sur la route à toute vitesse, comme si je voulais dépasser la radieuse lueur sélénite. Mais non, je continu, sans vouloir m'arrêter, pieds nus, oubliant la douleur, ou voulant la ressentir dans toute sa vérité, ne m'arrêtant toujours pas, poursuivant cette course contre mon âme, contre cette envie d'accompagner mon père à la musique, contre cette jalousie que je possède envers toute chose.

Oui, je fuis mes sentiments, je tente de me fuir.

Dure réalité... Si j'ai été prompt la comprendre, je ne l'ai toujours pas acceptée. Dois-je essayer de me changer, d'être à contre-courant de ma pensée ? Ou devrai-je rester ce que je suis, malgré le fait que je sois égoïste, égocentrique, et surtout en sachant que je le suis...

Je me mens à moi-même. Mentir. C'est si joli de mentir, que j'ai presque envie de continuer...

Pourtant, une vérité sortira bientôt d'entre mes lèvres...
